Would you go back?

These are the days,
those in which we will look back on.
One day we will wish for,
doing more than we have done now.
Wishing to come back to a day like today,
to relive it in some, some other way.
To do what we are too scared to do now,
what we would go back and change.

Would he still talk to her?
Would he have tried harder to find,
How to be the man she would need?
Or would he have left her,
no face, no word.
as he did.

Would she have talked more?
Explained things in ways that,
would make more sense to the world.
Would she have talked to him,
about things that could have been,
more understanding.
No face, no word,
as she did.

Would they go back in time,
to change it?
To make something from,
What could have been?
